Kilkerran Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 16 Years 750 ML Bottle

It's quite amazing really that Kilkerran is now old enough to release a 16-year-old. It shows how quickly time flies in the whisky world. A dram that shows oranges, toasted marshmallows, and peppermint. This is the 2022 edition of their 16-year-old, aged in 70% bourbon, and 30% sherry casks.

Tasting Notes:
Nose – A citrus element familiar to Kilkerran kicks off this dram with notes of oranges and opal fruits. Notes of Turkish delight, foam bananas, and strawberry laces develop, along with a malty, cereal note.
Palate – Sweet on the palate with a soft hint of peat smoke, there are notes of pear drops, sherbet, toffee apples, toasted marshmallows, and an orange note carried through from the nose.
Finish – A dry finish with notes of licorice, peppermint, and peat smoke.
