APPEARANCE

The tequila is clean and bright with an intense color best defined as a reddish-orange tone. When poured into a glass, it displays salmon tones with golden and orange reflections. All of this is the result of the tequila’s aging in barrels that previously held Santos Brujos Tempranillo wine. It has great visual appeal with a slow stream when poured into a glass.

AROMA

The first thing perceived are touches of sweet aromas, predominantly of vanillin. Mineral-like aromas, similar to graphite and wet dirt, can also be found. Touches of cooked agave and herbal scents, like that of Tequila Blanco, are recognized as well. Although the smell of alcohol is present, it is subtle and elegant.

TASTE

From the first sip, the taste reveals the grand complexity of this tequila. It fills the palate with a balanced intensity and expresses its original flavors along with those developed during its aging in a wine barrel.
